Bundle tries to use invalid binary after viewer (Skim) update

The LaTeX bundle asks the OS where the Skim application is located, so it is the OS which returns the path to /var/tmp/… (as that is where the updated Skim was first downloaded to).

The problem should be solved in Skim’s update code (by ensuring it doesn’t leave a binary behind in /var/tmp/…) or in the OS (that launch services changes location to /var/tmp/… is a little puzzling since Skim is never launched from this location).

Hmm, weird than that it ends up launching from there. "open -a Skim" did still launch the one in /Applications so launch services seemed to be fine.

I'm not really in the mood for trying to break my system again for the purpose of reproduction, as I have a lot of writing to do (and I am way too attached to latex.tmbundle to that do without it), but at least I hope this issue will pop up in some search results should some poor soul stumble upon the same problem in the future :)
