A simpler version of this filtering is used in many other LaTeX editor software
(like WinEdt or LEd).
For accented characters (like \'a or \'e) it is easier to type their Unicode
version, and easier to read their unicode version in the editor.
Nevertheless, in a bib file they need to be typed as \'a (or rather {\'a}) to
be compatible.
Thus it would be a really nice feature if the editor automatically would load
every occurrence of \'a as its unicode version (i.e. as á). This could be
configured in a file.
Similarly, it could be configured how to save the character "á" in the source
file, like save as \'a or {\'{a}} for a bib file, etc.
It could be configured for different file extensions (for .tex or for .bib,
etc).
