I think the application is loading the layout from your previous session.

Try deleting the file 'ApplicationState.bin' from your 'bin' directory.

Thanks to bliedblad, Follow your idea ,I delete the file ApplicationState.bin in the folder "gemini-master\src\Gemini.Demo.FilterDesigner\bin\Debug",and run the program. But the "Inspector" tool windows still loaded when program runs.

Open Gemini.Demo.FilterDesigner.Modules.Startup.Module.cs
Remove this line:
yield return typeof(IInspectorTool);

@bliedblad is right - if you remove that line from the FilterDesigner demo, you will no longer get the inspector tool showing by default.
