I'm not sure what you mean here. This lib has nothing to do with external scintilla controls.

I use Notepad++ all the time, and I have never had this script, or any other script, unintentionally change something in Notepad++.

Can you give more detail for how to replicate the issue?

I seem to fail to reproduce the effect, but the hole window of notepad++ changed to the updated scintilla control.

I did encountered another error when testing the same script, maybe it has something to do with this.
When hovering over the main window it always pops up, and seems to interfere sometimes with the coloring in the control. It is always annoiing when an error only occasional pops up.

It occured when testing my Gui Create script for V2:

how can I replicate this? just a simple mouse over? And/Or do I need multiple scintilla controls?

I might do away with the dll, since I can get very good performance without it. I'm also trying to create a structure where language semantics and syntax coloring can be done in one pass. So I don't know how directly I'll be able to approach some of these items, in the larger plan of things.
