This is weird. I tried exactly what you did (I tested your docker-compose.yml) and it does work on my machine:
Could you pull the latest image and try again?
docker pull thecodingmachine/php:7.2-v2-apache
from docker-images-php.

Working now. Maybe #124 fixed it?

Not sure it is related.
But indeed, XDebug was updated to 2.7.0 by #124 so it might have had an impact.
Anyway, glad it is fixed now!
