This is due to /controls/gear/gear-down being included in /sim/aircraft-data so it is saved across sessions - so not really a bug, but rather normal behaviour ! ;) I'll have to go at adding the state system to this aircraft soon … but I won't do that before I finished the interior 3D model. So, to fix this, either comment out the respective <path> in /sim/aircraft-data, or comment out aircraft.data.save(1) in Nasal/c210.nas or … remember to put the gear down before you quit FG ! ;)

Did you verify the property is set to 1 by default?
I never crashed the plane.

But you surely retracted the gear, right ? And that's saved across sessions - a broken gear isn't implemented yet.

I will rephrase the ticket then: implement start-on-ground state :)

I've added a few lines of Nasal that check /sim/presets/onground and if true, sets the gear down. That'll do for now.
