Re mudata: seems like they've finally decoupled it from muon (will be analysis only, depends on mudata).
Not sure how I feel about supporting right away (maybe too early), but from today's email, anndata/mudata might be moving to a separate orga, so might be worth it in the end.

Outdated + also very general issue (should be more bite-sized)
Will close this. As for muon integration, currently there's no planned immediate use-case, as far as I know. Also am reluctant to adopt it, since we'd most likely use it as a dictionary of AnnDatas and nothing more.

Multi-modal cost definition would benefit from this, however, can probably also be achieved by different means and can always be integrated later. I agree, consistent AnnData interface top priority at the moment.
