This is due to the trailing slash. It works fine if I use $ dawn test-project, but it might be nice to trap for that situation.

@jcoyne there is no 'slash' in your first dawn invocation. Can you please help me understanding how to reproduce it?

I can't reproduce the bug. My setup is OSX+zsh+rvm using ruby 2.1.0-p0. What's yours? (however I'll remove trailing '/' if present)

I guess you mistyped the first command line... did you specify something with the -c flag? (config file)
