I entirely forgot about wsl. I tested it through that and it works pretty well so far.

A natively compiled version for linux has been released.

BeatRecorder is not designed to run on any other platform than Windows because of it's GUI as it targets WinForms. Since .NET is crossplattform, i could compile a linux version of BeatRecorder without the GUI.
However, I don't have Linux set up myself right now. Would you be willing to assist me in that?
