Hi @steve-to-the-n,
We do have documentation on enabling the different services. RDP is currently unsupported (although we are looking at re-adding it). Portscan should work if you using a base OS that has iptables
.
There is some useful documentation over at https://opencanary.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html

Hey @jayjb ! Thanks much for the reply, but I've looked at https://opencanary.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html and it doesn't seem to have the step by step instructions like there is for SMB like this link: https://github.com/thinkst/opencanary/wiki/Opencanary-and-Samba. Are there step by step instructions for portscan with iptables somewhere? ...I've been searching the webz with no luck.
Good to know that I shouldn't keep digging for RDP.

Hi @steve-to-the-n,
Sorry for the delay here. I wanted to respond with some good news. We have re-added RDP.
Regarding getting portscan to work, you have made a good point that there is not much documentation on debugging it. What issue are you hitting with it? Perhaps you could send me some more information:
- What base OS are you using?
- What version of iptables is running on it?
- How are you trying to run Opencanary?
