The script you provided works fine for me (screenshot saved and some console output is printed).

It might be a puppeteer problem. Maybe check out the issues on the puppeteer repo. There is a known problem with headless mode on debian.

If puppeteer itself is not the problem, please provide more information about your operating system and setup.

Thank you for the quick response.
Indeed the problem is in puppeteer with windows 7 x64.
In headless mode I had to add the following which I found here:

  headless: true,
  args: [
    '--proxy-server="direct://"',
    '--proxy-bypass-list=*'
  ]

Don't know why this happens but as I read the above code is the workaround.
