@gabrielflorit it doesn't differ all that much. As mentioned about D3-Labeler looks pretty good, but is inactive.

Probably the biggest difference is that d3fc-label-layout allows you to plug in different strategies.

@ColinEberhardt @gabrielflorit One way it differs is d3fc-label-layout doesn't avoid label-anchor overlaps! Sometimes fc.layoutAnnealing() doesn't even seem to avoid label-label overlaps. Not what it says on the tin.

I found d3fc-label-layout easier to adapt for laying out labels for places on a GeoJSON map, but I'll try to get D3-Labeler working and see if I get better results, since the demo never produces overlaps.

Now I'm hoping bringing d3-cola into the mix might help, but that's a stretch since it's not built for labeling so doesn't account for the proximity to anchor directive.
