No error messages. Over 7 hours.

I tried it over 48hours without problems.
I just committed a mod that add messages on any exit.
Could you update, recompile and retry.
I think , that for whatever reason, your acarsdec receive an unattended signal and exit.

I kept testing, running the program and using either PuTTy or VNC viewer. Turns out, VNC viewer was quitting the connection on it's own.
PuTTy is fine, now I've been using Team Viewer for the past 48 hours without any problems.
