It just looks like you do not manage to decrypt your PV and so the VG is not found. I will test in pwd to check if everything works as expected.

I tried to add gpg-ed key and witg this kernel cmdline:
iroot=malej-root:c:ext4 ikmap=cz-i686.bin ikroot=gpg:sda1:/misc/key.gpg ilvm=malej-sda2
it fails on initlevel 1
with: Type in valid removable device....

But kernel dmesg output detects my drive...

No particular issue here. Just type in a valid removable device and
everything will go as expected. I use gpg crypted key-file all the time and
it works as expected.

when i dropped to rescue shell to see whats in /dev I didnt find any sdXY or hdXY file so I can type what I want when the init asks but cant see anything like this
