This issue has been solved. With UltraNest, the chosen priors can not extend outside the grid boundaries since it will return a NaN in the likelihood function. With MultiNest, this is not a problem. I have added a warning in case a prior range goes beyond the grid boundary.

Hi @wbalmer, thanks for opening this issue!

The problem seems indeed related to a NaN in the log-likelihood. Not sure what is going wrong...

Would you mind sharing the data in a private channel? Then I can check in species where the NaN appears.

The fit_corr parameter is not needed because you are already using the covariances from the data. The fit_corr uses a Gaussian process to model the covariances as alternative. Probably fit_corr is ignored though if the actual covariances are included.
