I think it is clear in the INSTALL file (section INSTALL p5). But you are right, I should make it easier.

I am getting this error by running the script ./alfresco-bart.sh backup. Please help me.

Hi harshit192, are you sure you have all dependences installed? Review the INSTALL file to make sure you did all needed steps.
from alfresco-backup-and-recovery-tool.

Hi,
What I have seen so far this is a duplicity related error because a lack of a library or wrong architecture on the existing .so library, look at this here:
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/duplicity/_librsync.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
It seems you have a 32bit library installed instead of 64bit. Is that right?
Alfresco BART is also looking for this command and you don't have it installed in that place:
./alfresco-bart.sh: line 157: /usr/bin/pg_dump: No such file or directory
from alfresco-backup-and-recovery-tool.
Hey thanx a lot for helping me. Now my backupscript is working.
But again i have 1 problem. I took the backup and add space after backup
name test and then stop the services and resotre the full backup. Now after
restoring i am able to see the space named test. y is it so? after
restoring backup the test space should not be shown.

It seems you haven't restored the backup correctly. Remember to have Alfresco stopped (as you did) then restore DB (you have to drop existing db and add the new one), replace contentstore and replace you indexes backup. I think you didn't restore the DB backup properly.
