Hi,
In your project, do you want to put a RippleEffect on a row or on a view inside a row ?

I've pushed an example of RecyclerView with a RippleEffect on each row in the sample project. Could you try it ?

Hi!

Your sample does work and my first implementation of it did as well. The problem is that the click event on my childview takes me to another activity. So the trasition to this other activity happens before the animation on the RippleView completes itself.

Is there a way to wait for the animation to complete and only them call the click event on the child view (The RecyclerView's row)?

PS.: The click event has an startActivity in it, and this is being called before the animation finishes.

Hi,

I think it's not a good idea to wait until the animation is finished because the user might think that your app is slow. But if you want to achieve this you can create an Handler and use the postDelayed method with a delay equals to the RippleEffect animation.
