Hello!

In order for the solution to work, the proper indexes need to be setup on the database. Unit 3 has a number of exercises (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 4.1) that walks you through what geospatial indexes need to be setup on the database first in order for querying in the app to work.

Thank you. They are setup correctly, the queries run from QConsole but not from the app.

Try opening the developer tools for your web browser, and look at the tab that displays network activity. If the server-side script is returning an error, you should be able to view it and see what error it is throwing.

I recall that at the workshop, some people had problems with one particular line of javascript code -- it worked for some people but not for others. You may be having the same problem.
