I have not seen this occur in a long time, can you post your manifest js file?

I can no longer reproduce this issue. My manifest was:

//= require jquery_ujs
//= require turbolinks
//= require bootstrap
//= require jquery.md5
//= require_tree .
Not sure what changed, but it is consistently working now.

cool, just a side note, its not in the documentation, but ought to be. putting turbolinks on the bottom as the last included js file tends to work better.
