Could also be a too new version? As far as I can tell, specs2 is still on 4.3.x.

Yeah I think they broke something in 4.3.6:

Okay, that could be a problem. @etorreborre, is 4.3.x supposed to be binary compatible?

Can confirm it's an issue specific to 4.3.6, with 4.3.5 it works as expected.

That's my fault I should have bumped the version to 4.4.0, I indeed changed a part of the API, I'm sorry.
