At least for Seq it should be similar to the one we have for Vector. The frameless encoders where written by reverse engineering Spark's ScalaReflection, so you might also want to have a look at that :)

I think this topic and #106 are related: Richer collection encoders need to be address together with UDFs that type-safely operate on them.
