Fwiw my vote is scopeWith. If you look at parameters, especially with the IDE's named args, it reads like:

.scopeWith(provider)

As opposed to the current, which is:

.withScope(provider), even though providers aren't themselves scopes

If you're still taking suggestions, I like scopeTo followed by scopeWith. I took a quick look at the PR, and scopeTo(lifecycle) or scopeTo(this) sounds better to me than scopeWith(lifecycle).
