Not sure if I'm a fan of the idea to take steps into the direction of hiding who did something - We try to be as transparent and open with how we act as possible, and this would actively work against that. I understand the concern tho, it should definitely be considered

It isn't a common issue admittedly, but yeah, it's at least worth considering.

Do you have specific examples as to when this was an issue? Even if the specific person was angry at a specific mod, I'm pretty sure I dont remember any case where more than one person from the community started to dislike a specific mod as a result of that kind of action.

The ones that come to mind were specifically the person with the action getting done to them getting mad (davidd, thatonecalc).
