Alternative to ReasonReact and JSX support?

Currently this package depends on preact directly so it won't work with React. I'm working on migrating to React by default as replacing React with Preact is much easier than the reverse but I'm very busy with other projects at the moment.

It doesn't support JSX. Is there any reason you want to use this with JSX? ReasonReact would be better if you want to stick to JSX. I primarily created this as an Elm-like replacement for OCaml.

For the ReasonReact part I meant I can use this to write React like code in Reason that compiles to Preact, right? And I was gonna use it basically as a replacement to ReasonReact but if it compiled to Preact, this would be better as it would be faster and smaller. I wanted to use it with JSX just as we would do in regular Preact code.
