You didn't do anything wrong, but the build pack isn't updated to the latest swift snapshot, so if you look close here

It's running on the 2-25 snapshot.
Fix
Add a file named .swift-version to your project's top level directory and include:
DEVELOPMENT-SNAPSHOT-2016-03-01-a
from vapor.
