I cannot reproduce it but try adding

$self->{matches_in_row} = [];

in line 180.

Which completion function are you using? Could you share some details?

First, thanks for replying!

I realized that I don't remember almost anything about perl when I read the code so I'll do my best at reporting first.

Your suggestion did not make any difference.

The problems is exactly the same regardless of completion type.

It happens only when there is non whitespace character at point, otherwise no completion is tried as expected.

It does not matter if aAtt is the only enabled urxvt extension or if there are others.

I bound it like this : URxvt*keysym.M-m: perl:aAtt:complete

I use the latest ubuntu packaged rxvt-unicode (urxvt) v9.15 and perl v5.14.2

Same here. And I can't get it to work by adding that line either. complete or skeleton-complete doesn't matter. 9.12 and 5.16.3
