The pre-built docker images are old, the problem is already solved in this PR. Clone the repository, get into the cloned folder and execute docker build -t chrome-novnc, you'll have a newly compiled image. Create the container from the image using docker run --name chrome-novnc -e PORT=9870 -p 9870:9870 -e VNC_PASS=samplepass chrome-novnc:latest. I'll update the images in some time.
