The best I've come up with so far is listening for the change event and running editor.cleanUp(). Sadly this only fires when the element is blurred (at least on Firefox). Any ideas? There's no keyup event, it seems.

Currently there is no really good way to do this using wysihtml5. I'm considering adding an event to the editor that will fire upon any change instantly.

I now remember there is an event named "interaction" used that fires upon "drop", "paste", "mouseup", "focus" and "keyup".

editor.on("interaction:composer", function() { ... });

This is the closest event currently to tracking any change instantly. Maybe it will help you.

Ah, that's good to know, thanks. However, I hadn't realized until leveraging this event that running editor.cleanUp() moves the cursor to the first character, and that makes the text field unusable.
