If you initiate the editor like this:

var editor = new wysihtml5.Editor("wysihtml5-textarea", options);

then

editor.setValue(html, true); // second parameter tells to cleanup code according to parser rules
editor.focus(); // will update the change value internally so next blur will not see anymore that content has changed

Though I think you will run into the problem of keeping the text caret when updating the text. If you can figure out the caret position in the updated html this might work:

*Add <span class="_wysihtml5-temp-placeholder"> </span> to the place in new html where the caret should be and then run:

editor.composer.selection.executeAndRestore(function() {
     editor.setValue(html, false);
}, true);

Theoretically, as I have not directly tested all of this :)

Hi,

I just tried your suggestion and it works wonderfully. In my case i only needed editor.setValue(html, true); since i only update data when the fucus is lost thus no need to set it :)
