I agree. Unfortunately that would require even more patching to chart.js 😒.
I'd like to change library, chart.js is moving at a glacial pace, pull requests have been stacking up for more than half a year now. If you have any tips on a good, complete, charting library I'd love to hear it.

Yea. I don't know who brought in chart.js but they're obviously an idiot.

P.S. It was me.

Haha, no worries, you couldn't have known and it did what we needed it to do.

I did a quick search on similar items and i ended up here http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_JavaScript_charting_frameworks
Its not an exhaustive list but a starting point. I personally havent touched any of these so i cant recommend one over the other.
I was just hoping to be able to filter the results if i clicked a slice of the pie.

@sijis thanks for the list. I've been playing with flotr2 on my branch, not a replacement yet, but I'm making progress.

Chart.js has been replaced by c3.js in 0.0.5. The current implementation helps break down the chart data but doesn't filter the viewable table data.
In a 0.1.x release we could enhance the charts to manipulate the search bars to filter the selected value.
