Btw @WarmUpTill , is there a way to make a donation to you somewhere ?

There is not, but I do appreciate the offer! Feel free to donate to a charity of your choice / OBS instead. :)

Thanks for reporting the issue!

The plugin can be compiled using libproc-2-dev, which should be available on this version of Debian if I am not mistaken.
(This came up in this issue before #590 and was resolved with fd8e3c1)

Unfortunately I am only providing prebuilt Linux binaries for ubuntu-22.04.

If I am not mistaken a version of the plugin should be available on Debian via apt, which should not be too far behind the releases here, so you may not have to compile the plugin yourself.

It is maintained here: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/obs-advanced-scene-switcher

Does that already help you or do you need access to binaries of the latest release compiled with libproc-2-dev?

Thank you for your answer. I tried the "obs-advanced-scene-switcher" from the repo (it's version 1.20.4), but sadly not working either. I get this in the obs console:

14:19:58.005: Skipping module '.config/obs-studio/plugins/advanced-scene-switcher/bin/64bit/libadvanced-scene-switcher.so' due to possible import conflicts

So yes, if you have the binaries compiled with libproc-2-dev, it would be really nice.

Seems like GitHub does not provide any runner for a version of Debian with libproc2.
Instead started a build which does not link against either library.

If all goes well a build should be available here in a few minutes:
https://github.com/WarmUpTill/SceneSwitcher/actions/runs/5069152413/jobs/9102359879?pr=758

Note that will mean that the "Process" condition will not function in this special build.

Hi @gNovp,

I am the maintainer of the obs-advanced-scene-switcher on Debian. I just did an install of the obs-advanced-scene-switcher in a fresh/clean Debian 12 and all things are working fine. Do you have non-official repositories or a "contaminated" Debian 12? Could you try in fresh install of Debian 12 (a VM or real install)?

Thanks a lot, everything is working fine here with the version you built ! Awesome plugin :)

Hello @eribertomota , thanks for checking in.
I tried with the obs-studio version from the Debian 12 repo, and indeed everything was working fine (except I can't use this version because the browser input is missing). So I then used a self-compiled version of OBS 29.1.1 on Debian 12.
When I installed the repository version of obs-advanced-scene-switcher, my compiled version of OBS wasn't even loading the plugin.

So I think everything is fine for someone just using the obs-studio version from the repo. It's just in my special case that this issue appeared.
Thanks a lot for your help :)
