Well - i see you don't have connected Eth cable to your board - so i conclude you are trying to use board WiFI.
Your screen tells me connection to WiFi failed - so minimyth2 fallback to Eth connection.
Is this true?
If yes: did you saw "Connecting to " on splash screen at boot?
If not - did you enabled WiFi in SD card minimyth.conf?

Well - simply because minimyth2 is appliance - not desktop distro :-)
I'm not sure is to worth to make from minimyth2 another distro competting with excellent Armbian or Manjaro?

btw: to verify - i downloaded rockpi4 image from my git, burn card and test it on my rockpi4b.
All works OK for Eth and for WiFi...

But, why? Why you force people to be connected to the internet? That doesn't make sense at all to me. Its the first time that a linux distro doesn't launch if not connected to internet to me. Maybe someone want to play videos completely offline, whats the point

Hmm - i'm a bit lost with your comment......
minimyth2 is appliance client designed to work with mythtv server. that's why it needs network connection to work (mythtv frontend is useless without mythtv backend)
