Kerisse search engine

Organizational

We've split up old WOT-terms repo into:

kerisse : search engine (Typesense-based github.io site)
new WOT-terms: glossary, solely focussed on terminology, filtering, and connect to source management (Docusaurus-based github.io site)
keridoc: KERI documentation site (Docusaurus-based: github.io site)

Apart from this, we still have:

kerific: SSI-terminology dictionary including KERI terms (browser extension for Brave/Edge/Chrome).

Information for developers

Add custom css in /src/assets/main.scss
The references in manifest.json point to files in the final distribution: /dist
/dist is generated from source via npm run build
Start local webserver: npm start, this will start a server on http://localhost:8080/

Errors while importing into Typesense:

Also does “Keri for Muggles” not show up as a “sticky”.

Visual clue missing that search results are there on small screens

Search results on small screens are not in viewport. There should be a visual clue that search has finished and results are in.

Action: find out if Typesense JS has an event listener for "search results are in"

Rename category “KERISSE (this site)”

Currently the Kerisse search engine show “KERISSE (this site)” as a category.
Kerisse and KeriDoc and WOT-terms are now separate sites so “this site” and “Kerisse” are not accurate anymore.

Where to send feedback now?

The scraper has an option to scrape individual URLs, stored in a Google Docs sheet. The fetch script used to be part of a set of scripts but has now moved to KERISSE and it should run before the scraper starts.
