Do you get this with other packages? Doesn't look specific.
What command exactly are you running? Is it the same with cabal repl rather than stack? What ghc version?
Can you attach the contents of the offending build/autogen/cabal_macros.h file? Does it really define that macro twice? It looks pretty clear from the Cabal lib code that it can only produce that macro once.

@sdiehl Have you still been seeing this? I haven't had a chance to try and reproduce it yet I'm afraid but I've been meaning to. Or was this some other gremlin?
