Unfortunately I had issues to install YouCompleteMe the last time I tried. I might try it again and see how tmux-complete can be integrated with it.
If somebody else manages to do this, please comment here.

Alright, I finally managed to install YouCompleteMe. I needed to recompile my Vim for Python support but it seems to be working now.
Anyway, I looked through the Readme and saw that it's supposed to work with omnifunc
. I tried setting
let g:tmuxcomplete#trigger = 'omnifunc'
but for some reason the completion is not triggered automatically. I briefly looked into the YouCompleteMe code but couldn't quickly understand when and under what circumstances the omnifunc
is actually called. But I saw that you can manually invoke completions by pressing <C-Space>
and that actually works.
I also looked at the behavior with the omnifunc
for Ruby files. It behaves exactly the same: The completion is only triggered when pressing <C-Space>
, not automatically.
So if you put the line above in your vimrc you can have tmux-complete in YouCompleteMe by pressing <C-Space>
.
