Yes, this feature is not finished yet. Exercises with equipment show it in the detail page, under the category. I'll add this to the REST-API shortly. I also plan for the next version 1.4 on expanding the exercise overview so it's possible e.g to filter by equipment, like opentraining does.

wger.de is now updated and exposes the equipment through the API (still need to expand the equipment list itself).

I would still want to combine all the overviews one day so that it's possible to filter depending on all the different categories, equipments, muscles, etc. Some other day.
