There is already a manifest for firefox os here. The reason we have not released the firefox os app is that there is an issue with rendering the message content in the iframe.

Firefox OS is prioritized after iOS (which we're working on as we speak). If you can't wait, you can build the firefox app from source and try to debug the app using the WebIDE. Patches are welcome if you fix the bug :)

To clarify, the blank screen was when launching the app from source on the Firefox OS. I was replying to the previous comment.

For your information, I was able to login but unable to get my keys. I can't get keys from sdcard (reported bug for Firefox OS browser), and syncing keys did not work (contacted support to reset)

i was not trying to be arrogant. the reason i said that your description is not helpful is the lack of information:

• what version of the app are you using?
• what ffos version are you deploying to?
• what does the console say?
• can you pull any sort of logs?

just saying that you get a blank screen is like dropping your car off at the dealership saying "something doesn't work" and walking off. that's why there are bug reporting guidelines, for example:

I tried both 1.3 and 2.0 versions of firefox os. I used the git default branch (master I guess). I will try to see if I can get some logs. It should have ideally given an error message at least. I installed it using App Manager Firefox extention.

Also slow connection issue is still there as I could sign in with a faster connection.

There is nothing on the console as well. I started the app from App Manager, then clicked debug.

I switched to WebIDE from App Manager and now I can see an error message. Style Sheet could not be loaded. app://[unique id]/css/all.min.css

there is no css folder there. I guess I need to prepcompile the sass files into css. How do I do it?

A friend built me the css files and its available here https://app.box.com/s/grqmnlcdz0taoqlnqg4wpm3r5p2iekpw Now the icon is visible, launch screen comes up, but still get a blank screen and no messages on debug console. It could be related to the manifest file, as serving it from a laptop shows up the index.html

After installing 'Finder', I can choose private key from sd card and web version is working. But on a slow connection, it is practically unusable (the default firefox os email app is usable, so I guess, getting packaged app to work would make it usable).
