BarcodeScanner should be locked to landscape

Hi,

The BarcodeScanner is indeed locked to landscape, but it's recognizing barcodes only when the red bar is turned 90 degrees.
i.e. barcode scanning does not work when users have the red bar cross the barcode like this:

Turning the barcode 90° (with the red bar vertical) makes the barcode being recognized.

This happens with phonegap build on iOS 6, with phonegap 2.1.0

Any updates on this issue? I would like to use the scanner to scan longer barcodes, and for this I need it to scan horizontally in landscape mode.
