The current release is tagged and published. Sharing here some links confirming that:

@willmendesneto I think you misunderstood what @MattAllison asked
On the 'home page', the release is 7.
on the releases page, it also 7 (note the latest tag)
in the list of TAGS, there are some v8 releases. they are not listed as latest though.
Maybe the latest v8 needs to be tagged as latest.
