I actually only just now understood what exactly you meant by this. The numeric value inside the circle is rounded down instead of up. So, at 0.5 seconds, it shows 0 seconds. The arc animation however doesn't round the value at all, and shows 0.5 seconds as being 0.5 seconds.

I think this is the right approach, because otherwise when you're at 119.5 seconds, it would show as being at 1 minute and 60 seconds. Worse yet it might actually show this as 1 day, 1 hour, 2 minutes and 60 seconds (because 119.5 seconds is 0,001 day, which rounded upwards makes 1 day, etc).

You could try to mess with the refresh_interval setting (setting it to 1), but it'll be hard to get the desired effect that way also.

Alternatively, it would be possible to add a millisecond counter. I'm going to close this issue because it's not a bug as I first thought it was, but feel free to place more comments.
