Actually once an entity is created for a given span ("salad"), the span cannot be changed. So you have to create another entity with the right span ("salad dressing") just like you did. Now, you can delete the first entity ("salad") by clicking the X on the right.

@alxbrun I think @geoffreydv means that even if the removal of the entity can be done manually, it will be more user friendly to delete automatically the old span for the newer if it's tagged with the same entity (here the entity consumation) in the same intent.
