When the difference between the initial guess and the final depth is small (order of 10m), the difference in results between the case where the borefield depth is updated every iteration and the case where it is held constant, differs within <1%. Doing so, however, decreases the computational time by a factor of two, due to the fact that 1) the borehole depth does not need to be updated and 2) no g-functions are to be calculated.
The goal is to create an option to choose below which threshold the borefield depth should be updated. The sizing setup function will therefore be replaced by a seperate class. A validation document for four cases will be created to show the effect on the sizing accuracy.
