I'll update the demo app and see if I can repro.

Maybe you need to update Angular Cli ? It's working fine with Cli 1.6 and Angular 5.1

Hey,

The demo app is deployed using a prod build:

https://github.com/lathonez/angular2-signaturepad-demo/blob/master/package.json#L12

Seems you have an ionic specific issue? Can you replicate on the demo app?

The ionic forum may be a more appropriate resource for your issue.

Thanks

Also, the stack you've referenced is thrown from the upstream library.

Thanks. Please let us know if you find a resolution or re-open if you manage to demonstrate an issue with this library.

Hi,

I have a very similar issue, using latest angular 5 & angular cli (not using ionic). It is working in development and I have the exact same issue once built :

a3075 is not defined
u.G7vL.u._calculateCurveControlPoints
u.G7vL.u._addPoint
u.G7vL.u._strokeUpdate
u._strokeMoveUpdate
HTMLCanvasElement._handleMouseMove
t.invokeTask
Object.onInvokeTask
t.invokeTask
r.runTask
e.invokeTask [as invoke]

I'm not sure if I can easily provide a demo, let me know if needed.

PS: thanks a lot for this great component :-)

Hello,
Thank you very much for your work :)
I just posted in szimek's repository with some more informations:
szimek/signature_pad#321

lathonez avatar lathonez commented on July 29, 2024

Thanks a lot for the debug. This is all I would have done.

I will be upgrading the demo app on Monday and will add my repro to the referenced issue.

^ seems to sum up where we are so far - looks like an issue with uglify. AFAICS it's clearly not an issue with this lib or szimek/signature_pad.

However, I am still looking to:

  • upgrade the demo app and identify the problem
  • ensure appropriate upstream bugs are raised if necessary (uglify)
  • provide clear workaround steps (if necessary)

Thanks a lot, it's working fine with angular 5.0.5 for me too 👍

I am still facing this issue. Even if I use angular 5.0.5.
