wxMEdit now (05ca874) can be built with wxGTK 3.0 and GTK3.
But during runtime there are still some known issues, some of which may be resulted by issues of wxGTK3-GTK3. Thus, wxGTK3-GTK3 support is experimental currently.

OK, there is a plan to add wxWidgets 3.0 support.

I tried to compile with wxWidgets 3.x by using changes made in madedit-pv, but resulting executable segfaults. I am attaching my changes.

It seems can not be merged directly. I will deal with it after the coming release 2.9.8.

Is this something you intend to add soon? I have been trying to compile wxMEdit on OS X 10.10 for quite some time now, without success. I am using wxWidgets 3.0.2 and are unfortunately not able to use 2.8.0

I'm starting to deal with it these days. While I'm not sure that it can be build under OS X soon.
- wxWidgets3.0 MSVC support
- wxWidgets3.0 MinGW support
- wxWidgets3.0 with GTK2 support
- wxWidgets3.0 with GTK3 support
- wxWidgets3.0 with Cocoa support
