Hi @Zeklandia, thanks for the suggestion! This is absolutely one of the functions that I wanted to build xBrowserSync for, once I've got the Firefox web extension out I can then start thinking about syncing more than just bookmarks data.

If anyone else would like history syncing, comment or thumbs up here as I'll gauge which feature to add next by the popularity here.

@NuraliMedeu this extension uses the web extension apis which includes a history api, so no need to read directly from the db.

Also, I'm one guy with limited spare time to develop new functionality, it'll come when it comes!

Hey @nero120. If you do support history sync, please, make it right from the beggining and do it as an opt-in.

@serovar not yet, currently working towards v1.6.0 which will deliver more browser support and internationalisation. History sync will come after that (see the roadmap).

PLEASE PUT THIS FEATURE ON TOP OF YOUR PRIORITITES _ THIS BY FAR THE MOST IMPORTANT AND GAME CHANGER FEATURE

Any update on this?

Hello, @nero120 ! Thank you very much for developing this extension. I am a beginner developer, so I apologize for any mistaken ideas. Is it reasonable to port some code from the sqlite-manager extension or a similar app to read the contents the History.sqlite or places.sqlite file of the user, then sync those contents using the syncing algorithms already implemented in xBrowserSync?

Also, can history sync be developed in parallel with the browser support, since both are equally important features?

+1 for History synch. It's what I miss most coming from Firefox - now on Librewolf and xbrowsersync.

Plugin synching would be nice as well.

@nero120 it has been a few years. Is this feature to be expected soon, or should we look for an alternative?

@jorbig, alternatives exist?
