1. You mentioned in your post "sitemap" and "xsitemap" and "news"
2. so now, what do I do? I sit in front of my computer, XOOPS is in front of me. I install News, and add a new article there:

Can you understand what I am trying to tell you?

This is like calling a doctor and telling him over the phone "I'm sick, Mr. Doctor, what could it be?"
Until you describe in details what kind of pain you have, where, what did you do that could cause the pain, and without the poor doctor having any opportunity to look at you or do any testing on you, tell me honestly - what kind of diagnosis and help can you expect from him?????

I just tried your TDMCreate and it doesn't work, and I have no idea why. The online tool from XYZ is doing fine. What could it be??????

How are you going to answer it? What kind of help are you going to offer me?

Or will you come back and tell me to provide you with detailed information what is not working, what did I try to do step-by-step, what did I expect to get and why do I say that it's not working, i.e. what did I receive, so you can try to replicate the steps on your PC and see if you can find the issue?

Again, steps to reproduce it?????
What module?
What is created and what is not?
Why don't you post your script so we can take a look at it?
Why don't you provide the links to the tools you're using?
Is xsitemap, your script, and the "online tools" all provide the same results?
" type url news": which module, what version? Can you provide a test data that is not working for you, so we can take a look at it?

Base on my emails exchange, this was a wrong expectation of the module. Module and XOOPS are fine, and there was no issue.

But in the request that I do, you don't show the contents of the file sitemap.xml
