..and i suggest to make it a "premium" feature since its mostly required by "team".

..similarly, some users in the "team" can use their "jumpboxes" in connections, you may also like to consider the gateway to be "localized" as option too..

Ok I figured out how to do it. If you choose "New>Customized SSH connection" then you can omit username in the record and instead you suplly whetver you wan the openssh to process, i.e Hostame for the host address..

Alright yeah the customized SSH connection type is best made for this.

Does that also solve the localized jumpboxes you mentioned? Because I wasn't 100% sure what exactly you meant by that, so you can elaborate on that if you want

Our team has their own jump boxes (which they use for development boxes). so when they reach out to production boxes their jump boxes are ssh-proxy for them. I think they can solve this case by defining their own ~/ssh_config in their local to use a certain jump box. (I just thought that! :)) xpipe is merely using the existing openssh, by overriding. so no override, means if there is a default jumpbox it will be used..

So, yes, customized SSH should do it too..
