Gradle build fails when importing the code in Android Studio

it's because of the network settings in Settings->Appearance & Behavior -> System Settings -> HTTP Proxy , you need to check accordingly if you are having proxy enabled then you need to check what are all the sites that are blocked and if it is disabled or you are connected to an open network then you should check your gradle.properties file in android studio , there should be nothing in that file if you will find anything then delete that and try syncing again , it will work.
try to use open network , it will work for you .
