Fair enough. I think, it isn't exactly a code style issue, it's more about general guidelines (i.e. less strict document). And the link to the W3C guide would be sufficient.

I think code style should be a compact set of simple, but strict rules (extendable, though), whereas guidelines are more like recommendations, best practices if you wish, which you can not comply to legitimately.
