Hi @fatmcgav,
This module requires Ruby 1.9 or greater, which is why CentOS 6 isn't in our list of supported OS's as per https://github.com/datacentred/datacentred-ldap/blob/7382d49ba65ea4054713508785f2c2a19f3a13fa/metadata.json#L30-L33
All I can suggest is to try it on CentOS 7, sorry!

@bilco105 That's a shame, as this module has worked perfectly with Ruby 1.8.7 and CentOS 6 until that point...
CentOS 6 is still the main use in our env, so looks like I'm guna have to go looking for a new ldap module, or pin this one at an older commit... :(
